Call them Summer Solstice Evening Primrose or Sundrops—they are a simple to grow, pest-free and problem-free beautiful plant.  This dark foliaged plant has bright yellow flowers that bloom from afternoon to evening.  The green leaves turn red in summer and burgundy in autumn.  Use in front to middle border or alone as specimen plants.
