These delicate looking flowers are a favorite of mine.  I like them mixed in with Blue Hosta, Variegated Hosta, Bergenia, and 'Palace Purple' Coral Bells.

Canadian Columbine

 Aquilegia Canadensis

A fast-grower and low-maintenance plant, the Canadian Columbine is a staple of the wildflower garden.  Enjoy the red and yellow blossoms shaped like dainty bells from May through June.  It does best in moist soil, but is often used to soften a rock garden with its delicate stems and flowers.
