Orange Surprise Daylily

Hemerocallis

These hardy plants with strap like leaves grow in 32-34 inch clumps.  Their flowers are rose-peach with an orange green throat and bloom most of the summer.  They are easy to care for and spread quickly.  Great for mass plantings.   Tolerates heat and drought.

This daylily is only 20 inches tall and its 2 inch trumpet shaped flowers are purple red with a green throat.  It blooms early in the season and reblooms in early fall.  It combines well with Stella d’ Oro.
