Alchemilla mollis 'Auslese'

Alchemilla is named from the word alchemy because many cultures believe it to bring about cures when used as an herb.  A tea made from the leaves is said to restore youth and beauty.  The plant provides beauty of its own in dry shaded areas where few other plants survive.  It has rounded gray-green downy leaves in large clumps topped with heads of star shaped little yellow flowers.  This easy to grow plant provides flowers for fresh or dried bouquets.
