Arrowwood Viburnum

 Viburnum opulus

The name of this easy-to-grow shrub is based on its historical use by Native Americans to craft arrow shafts. In late spring it is covered with creamy white blossoms. By late September it is covered with purplish-blue fruits that are a favorite food for birds.
